He most recently served as General Counsel for Mars' Confectionery business, where he contributed to a strategic portfolio transformation centered on including healthier options; managed the global patent and trademark teams; and supported multiple M&A initiatives.
Previously, Dave was EVP and General Counsel Martek Biosciences Corporation, a highly successful publicly traded (NASDAQ) company that pioneered the development and large scale manufacture of algal-derived docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) through microbial fermentation.

Walt Freese has the distinction of having led three iconic, values-led businesses: Ben & Jerry’s and Stonyfield Farm, where he served as CEO and Celestial Seasonings, where he served as President.
Earlier in his career, Walt held executive roles with Nestle, Unilever, and Kraft. He has also served as a private equity Operating Partner, where he identified and conducted due diligence of potential acquisition targets, while also supporting the integration, growth and development of those acquisitions.

In her most recent role as the Chief Marketing Officer at C16 Biosciences, Margaret successfully launched Palmless™, our branded platform for sustainable ingredients, spearheaded Torula oil sales in the beauty and personal care industries, and brought our runaway DTC hit Save the F@#$ing Rainforest nourishing oil to market.
Prior to C16, Margaret was a Senior Vice President at Ogilvy, where she led strategy on Dove, IBM, American Express, and Coca-cola.

Ann holds degrees in Applied Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Manufacturing Systems. Most recently Ann has completed a Certificate of Sustainability from the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. Currently she is on the Board of the UNGC Network USA.
